Listed this little painting on ebay today. I love the colors on this one hope it does well. It was painted in gouache and acrylic. The title of it is "Little Flores surrounded by Spring". Flores is flowers in latin.
I put the link If anyone would like to see the listing. Listing on Ebay has been fun over the years. But it has become more of a challenge the past few months Ebay keeps changing thing and making it harder to sell. So I looking into Shopify and Etsy.

I watched a youtube video where an amazing artist named Chuck Black had done a painting on wood bark. I thought wow I want give that a try. I remembered seeing the bark at Michaels art store. The next time went there I bought this little piece. I painted this peaceful snowy landscape. Painting this reminded me of how I used to paint on anything when as a kid. This painting is done in arylices. The surface was coated with three coats of gesso. Each coat is lightly sanded. The composition was laid in using cobalt blue. The full color palette was cobalt blue, cerulean, viridian ,cad yellow light, burnt sienna, alizarin crimson, white and black. Then to protect the painting and bring out the color the paint was given several coats of clear. I was super pleased with the finale product and plan to do some more of these when I get a chance.
